Overview

tiqk is an offline-first checklist app. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection and Storage

Your data stays on your device. tiqk does not require an account, and all your checklists, items, photos, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone.

We do not collect, transmit, store, or process your checklist data on any server. Your device is the only place your data exists.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't create user accounts or ask for personal information.
  • We don't collect or store your checklists, items, or photos.
  • We don't use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising networks.
  • We don't share your data with third parties.
  • We don't require an internet connection to use tiqk.

Location Data

If you enable location-based checklist triggers, tiqk uses your device's location services locally on your iPhone. Location data is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties.

Photos and Documents

Any photos or documents you attach to checklist items are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded, synced, or stored anywhere else.

Data Export and Deletion

You can export all your data as a JSON file from the app at any time. You can also delete all your data from within tiqk, and it will be permanently removed from your device.

Third-Party Services

tiqk uses the following frameworks and libraries, which may have their own privacy policies:

  • Apple's iOS frameworks (used for native functionality)
  • HomeKit (optional, only if you enable HomeKit integrations)
  • Siri Shortcuts (optional, only if you create shortcuts)

These are optional features. If you don't use them, tiqk remains entirely offline.

App Store

The App Store may collect data as part of its standard operation (e.g., app purchase records, download history). This is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
